For two-thousand years, the Western Church has defined Christian orthodoxy. For the good of us all, theologians from Europe and the Americas have faithfully contended for right belief.
But here at the onset of the third millennium, orthodoxy is getting an upgrade. The Eastern Church is speaking up, and our beliefs, our “doxy,” are consequently more “stereo,” more solid and multiphonic, than ever.
This stereodoxy is a good thing--a very good thing--and here I hope to amplify the voices I encounter in this venture toward a more globally-informed theology.
